cai vs water puddle

cant seem to find using search so ill ask.

how about the topic? im thinkin of changing my hot-air-intake (remove-air-box-replace-with-pop-charger) to a full cai, but im pretty worried about water puddles and flooded roads since this is my only car. sometimes its pretty unavoidalble to encounter water on road

do i have to worry that much about flood and puddles and splashes?

Yes you do.

Since rain down there is rather nasty, I would definitely try to switch based on the season and I would be carefull when the CAI is in.

Yes, you need to worry. I sucked up a lot of water with my CAI and it wasn't good. You can run the CAI just have an extra filter in the car to change over to when there's a lot of rain or water.
