Yes i searched and all i find is how to silicone the tracks. I know this all ready. What i need to know is it hard to fix it if the window is off the mechanism? Can anyone direct me towards a write up on this? Thanks in advance guys.

If the window is actually off the track, it is a simple, yet difficult task. Obviously, you'll have to take your door panel off, etc. Then, you'll have to somehow fit your hands into the holes they build into the inside door to try and put the window back on the tracks. The window will try and catch, so be careful with it. It will take more time to figure out how to do it, rather than actually doing it.

I need help fast

I wrote a thread about my window being stuck and it would not close all the way. Well i took the door panel off today and it felt like a cable was binded up in there. I didnt know we had a cable system to raise and lower the windows. Well i got it to go up at least i think there was a kink in it. But it wont roll down. Any suggetions? I cant see in there much less work in there. Is this cable system replaceable? I cant spend to many warm humid days in the midwest with no air and a drivers window that wont go down. And if this is not fixable weill an xe doors go on my ser with no hassle? I know where a wrecked one is and the windows work great but id loose my power mirrors. DOnt care really since it would take off some weight .Any help is always appreciated. Oh yeah there manual windows.

im sure the door would probably work, but why not just replace the window assembaly rather than the whole door?

I don't know about nissan ones but they are probably bolted on. Worst case they are riveted on and you will have to drill out the rivets and re-rivet it to the door. Easy job.
