My alternator has stopped working after only having it for 1month. I am starting to think its not the alternators fault, mabye something else is causing this to happen. Any Ideas? also, can someone show me a diagram of the connections on the alternator? I have one screw on the very back of the alternator that isnt being used......mabye it should?? btw, i have the 4 ur pulley set but the alternator pulley isnt installled, could that affect anything?

The biggest question is where did you get the alternator from? If it is AutoZone, etc. then that is probably the problem.

alternator has about a billion windings in it. if for any reason, one of those bindings breaks, and the wire isnt touching, the whole thing doesnt work. its like christmas lights, and Walt Grizwald.

1 powered 8" tube, nothing that takes much juice. The car is a 93nx2k. I found one ground behind the overflow bottle, one behind the battery, are there any more guounds? The ground bolt behind the battery snapped off so I relocated it to between the strut tower and upper strut tower brace. I didnt strip any paint whatsoever, could this be an issue? Thanks guys for all the help
