Just look at this and tell me what you think.

This is from the 1.6.
Hmmmmm.......

Is it just me or does it sit back farther? The mounting holes look to be the same distance apart..

It looks like it could be positioned farther back from the clutch arm.

I had my old 1.6 clutch level bracket. The bracket is too long for the cable, and the cable with not reach the pivot arm for the T/O bearing. Tried it, with no luck. I'm sure with a little modification it might work, but I just did it for giggles.

Hehe, I kind of thought that, thats why I threw this out there. Even with adjustment it will not reach? Cool! So I guess the 1.6 lever goes back a little too far?

Yes. I had my cable almost out of adjustment, and I was just pulling too tight to get the cable around the arm.

I've got that arm on my car. My tranny didn't come with one so I went to the junk yard and got one off a 1.6. Got the tranny mount bracket, and clutch cable off the same car.
