hesitation help

I've asked before on this forum but I'm trying one more time. I have a hesitation at 5500rpm and only there in all gears. It doesn't do it at full throttle it will rev all the way through to red line. I've replaced th o2 sensor cap rotor plugs and wires the fuel filter is new and my air filter has been recently cleaned. The maf has been regrounded. I desperatly need help and I know one of you can help. Also sometimes when shifting the engine bogs down for a few seconds then starts to pull again till I hit that magic 5500 point. Thanks for taking the time to read this any advice will be helpful and appreciated.

might be ur iacv..install a vacuum gauge on it and see if its at 20.also check for vacuum leaks..bb top mount will fit under the hood but might not clear ur strut tower brace(stb)i think that all the btir's ive seen have fmic..go vvl..try checking the gap on ur plugs and the timing..

How would you feel about a JDM intake manifold and getting rid of all the AIV/EGR stuff?

That got rid of all my hesitation.
