how to clear a check engine light?

is there a simple way to do this?

fix the problem that caused the light then reset your ecu. You can reset your ecu by disconecting your negative battery cable and leaving it disconnected for 30 min. This will erase any stored codes in your ecu's eprom memory. If you didn't fix the problem that caused the cel, you will just get it again when the problem arises again.

but then u gotta reprogram all ur stations and sht....thats not fun

never understood why everyone is all about unhooking the battery for this when its easily accomplished with a screw driver. Not on that you gett to see what the code is so you can fix it.
