Alternator question

Well I finally found the source of my rattling under the hood. When I rev my motor I can see my alt pivot from front to back, at the bottom. I believe this was caused by my mechanic friend possibly loosening the bottom bolt/nut. That is assuming that there is a bottom bolt/nut. Does anyone know what size it is? Seems that mine has left to go onto a better place. I'm glad it's something so minor though.

Welcome to the world of the missing pivot bolt. I know 2 other people besides myself that this has happened to.
I have no idea why it just decides to bail out on. I just went to the dealer and ordered one. I believe it was $13-$20. Special order.
