yo mean when you make the transition from the 'motor pulling the car' to the 'car pulling the motor', example when you let off the gas, the whole thing just seems to lurch forward? I had the same problem with my NX, in fact I think every SE-R owner had this problem. I put in the Energy Suspension motor mounts (just 2 of the 4 so far) and the problem is much improved, but still there. Once I get the other two in, I assume it should be completely fixed.
the metal pipe, you mean the AIV? right below the part where the primaries connect to the downpipe, uh the passender side I think. Connects to the black box right above the top of the exhaust manifold. It is a kind of 'reverse EGR', it takes filtered air and feeds it into the exhaust stream to keep the air moving and prevent it from going back into the cylinder. I think it may have something to do with helping the cat work properly, providing oxygen to help convert C0 to CO2
