Hello, I'm a newbie to this forum and am currently looking for a car. Here's the problem, I live in Canada yet I love the Sentra SE-R (91-94) and I can't import one to Canada due to some seatbelt crap. The Gov't will not allow any seatbelt mods to a car to allow for importation, therefore I am wondering if the 1.6L sentra motor can be swapped out for the SR20, or am I asking for trouble? What other mods would I have to do to make an SE-R? I have owned a Sentra Classic since 1991 (90 model) and have a lot of faith in the cars. 270,000 kms later the car still functions excellent. Any help in this dept. would be greatly appreciated.
