Extrude Hone

I guess this is a Technical question. I'm planning to send a head to Extrude Hone. When I called, I was told to strip it to a bare head. Well, the valve guides could be left in, but close enough. My question is: does anyone know if the valves will seat OK after this? Or will additional machine work be required in this area? If so, how much will this cost, and can you reccomend somebodyy on the East Coast? Thanx,
Jason
