what solenoid is this? (DET)

behind the DET motors there are this two hose that connect to a solenoid and then to the intake manifold...it is located right below the intake manifold... i notice this is not on my low port motor so i have no idea... i was thinking of bypassing the hoses and eliminate the solenoid but i dont know what the hell the solenoid is ...could be important ... not sure if it connects to my stock harness(b14)... im assuming it doesnt... i know you guys know the answer
thanks!

Does it look similiar to the item to the left of the oil sending unit in the below picture? If so, then it's part of the idle air control, not sure of the exact name.

You don't see it on yours because you have a low port motor and the BB is a high port motor. I'm not sure of the exact location on the low port motors.

Thats the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve). Your car wont idle without it.
