MAF gone bad again!!!????!!! WTF!!

Can a MAF go bad from not driving the car?

Last summer my car was running like crap, stalling, smoking from runnign very rich but thanks to the mad mechanic skillZ of Ray K. figured it out to be a bad MAF. Well, I got a new MAF and the car ran great. I only put about 300 miles on it and parked if for the winter. Yesterday I put the car back on the road and BAM! Same problem.....car is stalling and smoking again. WTF

B13s don't have a limp mode. The car only revs to like 2,000 and cuts out. Do you have enemies? Sounds like sugar in the tank. Vapors from the fuel/sugar mixture travel back through the intake tube after shutting the car down. Thus sugar crystalizes on the Maf's sensor(s). Other than that you may have a voltage grounding out somewhere shorting it out. Somewhere over the rainbow in the harness.
