working on my friends s13 with a red top swap... 99.9% completed
heres the problem,
the coil pack harness that we are using has a 6 pin connector and the power transistor unit has a 4 pin connector........ is there supposed to be some sort of sub-harness to go between the these two parts? the power transistor unit looks like most that i've seen 4 pins on one side and 5 on the other.
reading the diagram from the fsm i see more connections between the power transistor and the coil pack harness than we have present. if we are missing a piece could someone possibly post a picture of the layout of the ignition system harness for comparison... worse comes to worse i'll build a new harness... no biggie.
