What happens with stiff springs (GCs, Hyperco deal) and crappy struts?

I know with ProKits and bad struts you will bottom out all the time and that wil be crappy, but what about stiff springs that don't lower the car much if at all with GCs or the Hyperco deal springs? What is it like to drive an underdamped car that doesn't bottom out a lot? Just curious of the concept- I'm not looking at doing it.

It's like playing with a Red Rider BB Gun: you'll poke your eye out.

I imagine it would be a bouncy, rolling ride. Probably unnerving to drive at speed.

Yeah, bouncy, just faster. Picture what it would be like without any struts, and you have the right idea, just not as bad. Bouncy, with a higher frequency due to the higher K value of the spring.

Bad idea.

Bouncy bouncy bouncy....Dead shocks cannot control the spring oscillations.

You may not actually be a Riceboy riding around on the bumpstops, but at least you'll look like you are.

for a visual of this, watch the fast and the furious. The Jetta's suspension is waaaay underdamped. When it comes around the corner following the three nissans near the start of the movie, you can see the rear end bumping up and down like it's got hydraulics.
