Netural Pos. Switch

Anyone have experience with the netural pos. switch on a 5spd? I'm looking at the FSM and it looks like it could be the cause of why my cruise isn't working - it appears that it should goto ground when not in gear - but its not that detailed - also anyone know the cost to replace it - mine isn't showing anything.

Also - can someone cofirm that on a 5spd if you pop it out of gear while on cruise does that kill the cruise?

It might be the cause. My cruise just stopped working. And I know it's not the fuses. Does the cruise control light come on to say it's ON? It should fully come out when your foot is off the pedal. If not, you need to readjust it. Did you ever adjust your brake pedal? Adjusting that too low can have the same effect.

If you pop out of gear, the cruise should disengage. That is my understanding at least.

Ok thanks - my light comes on (the green light at the switch) and I can hear relays when I hit the button but nothing after that.....
