Need Help with Coolant Leak

Ok fellas. Sad to say i finally got a replacement tranny in my 94. So i'm all smiles and i take it out for a test. Guess what i find. I got a coolant LEAK!.

So I just could use help determining what is going on with this car. First off the car had been sitting since August i just got it back on the road today.

WHile it was in the garage I there were no coolant spots on the floor.

While i was letting the car warm up there was no smoke or coolant on the pavement.
I pulled the car out and tested it with no more then 4500 rpm in second gear.

I Parked it in the driveway and left it running no coolant leak. It was in the driveway for a good 15 mins just idiling.

So once i had finished changing my rear wheels. I took the car out again. Drove it some more and finally got on it. What i first noticed was a spray of liquid hit my windshield. I just thought it was water that was on the hood as i had sprayed the car down before i took it out. Like 6 mins go by and thats when i notice the white smoke , and smell the coolant. I looked under the car and most of it was coming out from the bottom of the rad.

I opened the hood and looked down at the hoses i didn't spot any steam coming out of them. I saw some evidence of splash on the top of my battery and on my airbox. There was also coolant on the top of the radiator. So pretty much I 'm stumped. There was coolant everywhere. I can't pinpoint where it came out from.

I'm guessing that the higher pressure of me revving higher must of caused some coolant to shoot out. Any suggestions would be helpful. Do radiators blow up?

Anybody reccommend those radiator leak additives that are sold at parts stores?

Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks.

hmm if it were me, id have the car runnin, get nice and warm, let the pressures get up, then have someone get on it in neutral and see if you notice anything... that could be a start, if you do find it, shut the engine off quick so you dont drench everything.

Ok so i found out the source of my leak. Well hopefully the only source. I saw coolant bubbling out of the top plastic tank. I'm gonna try the prestone stop leak stuff. Anybody have experience with this product? Will it ruin my cooling system?
