I have a 1996 se-r with jwt stage 4 cams in it, and when the idle drops to around 600-700 rpm at the bottom of the lope, the oil light comes on when the car is warmed up. I just did an oil change with royal purple 5w30 and some Restore..it was fine before the oil change, and now its acting up....
my b13 E was doing the same with 165,xxx miles.. i just added thicker oil and went away, i added 10w-40 and a bottle of slick 50 and problem was solved...... try using a thicker viscocity

WTF is restore and why did you put that in your motor? Sounds like it could have clogged something up.

mine does the same thing ..when i park in a angle or inclined driveway
u'll see the oil light and then it will disapear right away
if ur worried....check the oil level after warm up=okay
then stomp on it for a bit....let it cool down for 3 minutes and check the oil level again=to be sure

SOME TIMES ITS A PAIN IN DA @SS WONDERING IF THAT'S WHAT CAUSING IT!!
it could be the sensor, does your oil pan have any big dents in it? have you kept up on maint? did you change your oil filter when you changed the oil?
There are a couple little dents, nothing too severe. I have been doing oil changes routinely every 2500 to 3500 miles. The only thing is that i was pressed for time and took it to jiffy lube a few changes ago, and the filter had a bad gasket and blew all of the oil out...but i shut it off immediately, and coasted into a parking lot, and it doesn't seem to be making any undue noises...

you did add and check the level after this happened, i assume you put another filter on it too...
another example why its best to DIY and use oem filters....
I think the restore has something to do with this because my oil **** comes on at idle now after a flush with 10W40 and RESTORE. I am draining mine tomorrow again.
