I am getting this same problem with my P11 SR20DE transmission. It shifts hard between 1 and 2 and causes the whole car to jerk forward. I was told that there is a damper spring of some sort that breaks and causes this, but I am not certain. Does any of you guys have any idea as to what this can be.

Thanks.

Interested in this as well. Worst case, replacing the entire transmission should solve the problem right?
