Whoever told you that is uneducated about the SR20. It can hold much, much more then that.

My friend is pushing 17lbs through his. No internal work of any sorts. This car has been running this much boost through it for about a year... and she isn't just a daily driver - she's a track whore too!!

The stock bottom end can handle up to about 18. Just make sure your ecu/injectors are up to par.

I wouldn't suggest to run more then 10 though till you put some work in her.

I knew this guy who made 450 whp + on a stock SR20DE. What fuel management are you going to use?

How are you going to run such low boost? Most wastegates are at least 7psi.

Back when I got my F-MAX kit, they gave me an option of a 5, 7, or 9psi spring...I'm pretty sure you can get a 5 psi spring.

Why don't you read the Technical Library?

http://www.sr20forum.com/turbo-guides/

The person who told you that 5lbs is all it can handle is ignorant as hell. Don't listen to any more of his advice on your car.

Your friends, family, mechanic, and best friend, are clueless on your vehicle.

Further, I looked at all thirty-seven (37) of the threads you started. You need to learn how to SEARCH right quick. You ask about brake swaps and ignore the information posted. You "heard from a friend" all kinds of erroneous information, you ask about simple tranny swaps, what does a 9lb flywheel do, etc..... Yet, you NEVER SEARCH. Answers that are easily found.

If you need any clarification on the Forum Rules, feel free to PM me, I'll be happy to help.

You have been told, asked, and requested to SEARCH on multiple occassions by various forum members including Super Moderators, in many of your ridiculous, inane, redundant threads. You really better start listening and SEARCHING, it is a Forum rule, you are risking a serious BBQ with you as the main course.

BEFORE you start another redundant, ignorant, thread why don't you learn how to SEARCH for your answers?!? Get with the program NEWB.

Are you "thinking about boosting" or "boosting this weekend"?!?

You do not need a head job, cams, nor pistons to run a lot more boost than 5-7 psi.

You are "boosting this weekend" and have no idea what type of fuel management to use?

How the hell are you gonna "tune" an Avenir ECU?

Yes you can, with a stock head, OEM cams, and OEM pistons.

You sound like you are in waaaaaay over your head and flying by the seat of your pants. You have no idea how much boost your stock engine will take, no clue on fuel management, have no idea where the SEARCH BUTTON is located, and you're either "thinking about boosting" or "boosting it this weekend"?!?

You ought to slow the hell down, get a viable plan together, all the parts you need, and someone local who actually knows what they are doing. Preferably an experienced member of this forum.

Oh yeah, did I mention that you ought to learn to SEARCH?

http://www.sr20forum.com/new-members...rker-crew.html

The very next time you post a new thread and it is readily apparent that you did not search? You damn well better be wearing your Nomex Underoos.

Good luck to you, you're gonna need it.

this forum is very helpfull .

, think of it as moving to new neighborhood , you need to learn the streets and certain spots and shortcuts before you go somewhere and get OWNED.

Shawn is being Shawn , but he is 100% correct in all he has stated. Searching a subject is very important .

If you search and nothing comes up try rewording what you are searching for. also the technical library has hundreds of hours woth of knowledge and how- to experience.

Quite frankly that post above is what I wanted to tell you when your last thread got shut down.

http://www.sr20forum.com/classic-se-...e-upgrade.html

Drop your "woe is me, Shawn's being mean" pity party bullsh*t. You have indeed been nicely asked on multiple occassions, by various forum members to search.

http://www.sr20forum.com/classic-se-...sd-tranny.html

http://www.sr20forum.com/nitrous/208...3-nitrous.html

http://www.sr20forum.com/classic-se-...liper-b13.html

http://www.sr20forum.com/classic-se-...-calipers.html

In these threads, you should have been told to search:

http://www.sr20forum.com/classic-se-...fly-wheel.html

http://www.sr20forum.com/sr20de-tech...unnin-out.html

Now I am telling you straight up, learn how to search and do so. Period. You need to click the link that I posted for you on SEARCH TIPS FROM HJ BARKER AND CREW. I provided a link for you, twice, to that thread. Post #6 in that thread will lead you directly to the Technical Library.

Searching skills are NOT some "God given" devine talent. Searching is a SKILL, like any other skill, it must be practiced and learned. You have stated before that you are too lazy to want to "go tru a thread", when the link was posted for you.

It is your attitude that will NOT cut it on this forum. No way, no how.

You can ask for help all you want. However you ignore the Forum Rules and ignorantly post unresearched simple questions. You're asked nicely to "search" by various forum members, and you ignore them or mumble some lame-ass bullsh*t about not wanting to read. A Super Moderator closes your thread to save you from further flaming last go-round. Yet, with this thread you continue your pattern of not doing any work for yourself because you are a lazy bastard. Then you whine and start your emo-esque "the world is against me" crapola.

You are seriously overcookin' my grits son.

Don't take it personal, drop your woe-is-me nonsense, quit being a lazy bastard, and get with the program.

Welcome to the forum.

Just so you know, 10psi on a T25 is not like 10psi on a GT35R. The turbo makes a difference. There are many 400whp stock bottom end SR20DE's out there. I run 10-12psi daily on my T25 kit. Boost goes higher then on the track.

just search for the info and read the turbo sticky's :-)

I'm not turbo, but will be next year. I'm always reading turbo threads on here and on the g20.net forum, because I want to learn everything about turboing.

Correct me if i'm wrong, From reading I read that our sr20's can hold up boost to 23 psi with stock internals.
