EVAP control valve

my code is 0715 and says that the EVAP canister vent control valve closed

I took off the canister checked all the tubes, put it back, and took of this thing that was in the engine bay under the evap service port, is this the vent control valve that is colsed?
I have spent way too much time on this damn thing and would really like to be able to fill up at the gas station without it stoppin every 5 seconds.
the system holds pressure fine also I checked that first.
someone please steer me in the correct way of the EVAP canister vent control valve if this is not it.
thank you every one

the vent control valve is supposed to hold pressure only at certain times, the vent control solenoid controls the opening and closing to vent the evap fumes to your intake mani. replace the valve they go bad on damn near all nissan obd2 evap systems. i've replace 7 in two years ranging from titans to 200sx to maximas to g35s they use almost the exact same system, albeit faulty.

most of the valves are back near the gas tank not the one in the engine bay. check the fsm to be sure.

What year and model car? That doesn't look like a control valve to me.

yes, most all evap stuff has to be oem, not much aftermarket support yet, though standard is making some stuff.
