passed ATL smog

Details are too tedious to enter, but passed again now second year in a row (LEGALLY) with VE in B13 (OBDI) in gawdawfulwretchedatlanta. Problem is NOx, other measures are virtually nonexistent with cat. JUST passed NOx, which is dependent on EGR, of which we don't have one. :-). Holler if want details.

Yeah, I was amazed when my VE passed, even though I was running rich with a stock DE ECU at the time. NOx wasn't too bad either. Now if I can only get my stock egg to pass... #$%^&*&^%$%^!!!!!

My VE passed the sniffer the last time they tested it - then they changed the rules at the beginning of 2007, and only OBDII gets tested (my G and NX are exempt now).

Congrats Jerry. That is always a load off of the mind. Are you guys every year testing or every 2 years? We were every 2 years with no testing until a car is 5 years old.

Every year - my guess is they'll keep testing OBD1 here as they have had a bazillion little quonset hut businesses set up with rollers to take 25 bux (there are at least 6 of them within 2 miles of my house). -- not a smog decision, just republicans taking care of moneygrubbers (should be a bumper sticker of some sort - "democrats do it to you with taxes, republicans do it to you with ____(?)")
