Head Gasket and Top End question

So I am going to be tearing the head off of my car and redoing the gasket, water pump, timing chains. I'm going to take the head down and have it pressure checked and I want to do it all the right way and I keep hearing that I should do a Cometic Gasket. Should I get the entire kit or should I get just the gasket and get the rest of the stuff else where? Also, this is what I find when I look at Cometics site

Bore Material
88.5mm MLS .030"

Is that the one I need? I mean I can assume that it is since it is the only one they offer but is that the one I should get or is there a better one that any of you would recommend?
My end goal is to get it all together strong and done the right way so that when I upgrade my turbo and stuff I can feel secure in the way it was done and be sure that it will (providing that the labor was done right) hold together. I have my end goal in sight and a list that I have been making over the last few months. Now it is time to make it a reality. The info I have gathered from this site and from the members on here that put up with my PM's about stupid sh*t has been invaluable. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can choose which bore and which thickness you want from them. They only stock one size which is the one you saw, but they will make it however you want. I actually setup a wholesale account with them. If you want me to I can get you one however you want at a good price.
