Tranny Problems SR20de

Have anyone ever installed an SR20de Lowport engine with an SR20 High Port Tranny? I have that configuration on my Primera but currently experiencing problems with gear change. he gears seems to be going in to fast and the engine dies down and I lose power in the this vehicle, if I take off the over drive the car works fine, this happens alot when the engine is hot but not on mornings when the engine is cold. nstalled an oil cooler but it does not seem to help much when the engine is hot.
Thanks

no i don't believe they are since we are having problems with the dear change, the tranny kickdown cable seems to long and will not allow proper adjustment.
