Steering related helicopter noise from front end

The best way I can describe this noise is a helicopter's blades turning while the helicopter is still on the ground. Its a rhythic sound of the blades cutting the air. This sound clearly is related to steering and speed. The sound is noticeable at any speed above 40mph and really distinct when I turn the steering wheel to the right. It is NOT related to the engine's RPMs. I put the car in neutral and cruise and as the car slows down, the rhythmic sound slows down. And as I turn the steering wheel left and right gently making the car veer left and right several times, the sound goes away when I steer left and comes back full force when I steer right.

Could this be wheel bearing or CV joints, or something else??? I appreciate any feedback.

My guess is driver's side wheel bearing.

one easy thing to do is to check the CV boot on the right side. If you can find grease around it and it looks like it's coming out of the boot, then it's torn and you don't have enough lubrication at the joint. Otherwise it may be the wheel bearing. The fact that it only does it when you turn right makes me think it's the CV joint. Take a look at the boot.

Did anyone ever figure out what this problem was? I have a similar problem when hard turning right, and its sounds like the tire is hitting.

Check your cv joints. I had a similar sound (vibrations on suspension) when turnning and when accelerating. When I opened up the cv boot, i saw the a damage cv joint. I replaced the entire shaft (axle, cv joints, boots). Find it on Summit Racing.
Everything's ok now.
