How to tell year of the motor ?

Hey guys, Im wondering how to tell the year of my motor ? I bought the car with a newer SR20DE , but not sure what year it is. Wondering if there are any sites I can go to , that I can type in the block and head stamp/code and hopefully it will tell me what I have. Thanks

Stamp on the head ( by the dist. ) - 2J2
Stamp on the block - SR20 307713B

Thats what I got off the block and head . Are their any other markings that can identify the motor ?

Thanks,

Greg

The month and year are stamped on the aluminum water outlet pipe on the left side of the motor. It's right on top in a small circle.....can't miss it. As long as it's the original installed on the car, then you know when the motor was built.

No, the thermostat is on the right side (when looking under your hood). The outlet pipe is on the left (passenger side).
