I checked those spots and nothing looked broken or damaged and I did not see any metal shavings. I can turn the gears by hand and everything rotates if that a good sign? Now the fluid that was in there was new and if you can tell by the pics the inside of the case looks perfect to me. I have a video below of how it looks when I try to shift.

So in this picture you can see the bracket that attaches to the forks and one on the right is higher. Does that mean anything? nothing looks like its binding when I try to select gears.

Could this bolt holding a ball bearing in place be the culprit of anything?I backed it out just prior to taking this picture thinking it might.

I am just about ready to take this thing in because I am fed up and send the bill to andreas miko, since it is looking more like this perfect low mileage tranny isn't exactly perfect. He says it didn't have this problem and somehow I'm doubting it developed this problem during shipping or the couple months it sat in my garage.

In case anyone is interested I took the transmission to a shop and the guy there took it apart measured everything to spec, all was good, he reassembled it all and said it went into gear just fine for him.

After I was there talking about him he said maybe one of the syncro's was stuck or something like that, or that it possibly was stuck trying to engage 2 different gears. After I told him I bought it from a reputable person (miko) and the transmission had come from a car that had been totaled from being t-boned he said it was a distinct possibility that it happened during that crash. Now miko said it shifted fine before he sold it to me.

I gave up on contacting miko since i sent him 2 pm's asking for help with details included and his only response to me was I installed it wrong, but I'm sure nobody cares since he sells so many products/services. I for one will be skeptical about buying anything used from him again since I wasted the MT-90 i bought, my time and money for someone too look closely at it.

To those that offered some help on this subject, unlike some people here, thank you. It was very much appreciated even though I wasn't able to solve the problem.
