Carbon Canister Delete

I have a B13 SER with a sr20det. Im just cleaning up the engine bay and tuckin some wires. I was wondering if anyone has any info on deleting the carbon canister. The things pretty old looking and I have a friend with a k20 hatch that deleted his. Which lines do I leave open and which lines do I plug? Any help would be amazing. Thank you

Well I have the same car with the same motor. I just took mine out, then I think there is only one line that looks like it goes under the car and that is for the tank breather I just put a small lawn mower fuel filter in line and have it going into my intake just to keep it clean and the excese fumes will be drawn into the motor. then all the other lines (its been 2 years sence I did the swap) I think I just capped or removed. The whole thing is just for emissions soooo... Hope that helps, If you want I could prolly get a diagram together if need be.

A diagram would be greatly appreciated. Truthfully, I just don't like the look of mine in the engine bay. If it can be removed without any drawbacks, I'd do this as well.

i deleted my carbon canister and took the hard line out and then used a piece of hose off the tank and put it up my guard, now im having massive problems with my fuel tank presurising hardcore, like leving the car in the sun itle push fuel out the breather all over the ground :s

im thinking of trying to put it onto a vac line just to get a constant vac in the tank to stop it presurising?

cheers

Don't recommend deleting this. Fuel vapors and fuel will expand and contract in your tank as the temperature changes. That's what the carbon canister is for, guys.

If the system is not sealed ( you add a breather ) you will be constantly evaporating fuel. That's bad for the environment and also bad for your pocket book.

There is literally no advantage to removing this part, only disadvantages.
