Speedometer / Tachometer actin funny, help please!

Ok so i posted this up on my other thread, but failed to get any answers. So here's the problem.

My tach doesn't work, at all. I've removed the dash, checked the wiring into ECU as some threads/websites state. Everything looks fine. Is there any other wiring for this? Perhaps into distributor?

My Speedometer acts weird, sometimes it doesnt work at all. And other times when im lightly driving in and out to move the car around for others, the speedometer jumps to 60-65 mph, but the tach still at 0.

I'm going to check the Speedometer cable on the tranny tomorrow, as i figure thats the culprit for that. But tach is confusin the hell out of me

The signal for the tach comes off the coil. so its either wiring or bad tach causing that.

and check your speedo cable and see if its plugged tightly into the speedo. if it is, remove it and check to see if the cable is broken. if its not, its either the speed sensor, or the speedo gauge itself
