I know this has been an issue on here before, but I saw no solutions to it. And yes, I know Nissan had a recall on it. I called my local dealership and they ran the VIN and said that the recall is too old and they can't do it for free.

So I would like to know how I can fix it myself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

id say you have to get a new little plastic cup that pops on that ball, mine started doing that fu*k it drove me wild. got on of those clips problem solved for now anyway.

What I don't get is how does the ball stay in the bushing?

this happened in my p10. all i did was went to the junkyard and grabbed a whole wiper assembly and just put that on. i was told that the clips that you can put in yourself are kinda easy to break
