Clicking noise......

when I press the brake pedal. After replacing the two front rotors and brake pads, I have noticed an audible clicking noise. It didn't happen right after the replacement but a few days afterwards.....I believe.

- Brembo OE blank rotors
- Bendix pads (semi-metallic)
- I reused the brake shims....except for the one on the driver side...outside (the shim was rusted out)

Could this noise be caused by the "missing" shim? Again, it doesn't clicking when I'm driving at normal speed....just when I come close to a complete stop. Any help or suggestion is appreciated.

Sounds like a loose bolt to me. I have done this before... thank you, brake equipment, for being very forgiving :P
