snapped 2nd flexplate in 3 months -- HELP

i have a 94 b13 with auto trans and 3 months ago the flexplate snapped right wear the crankshaft bolts on to soo..... i replaced and changed the starter at that time i thought the cause was due to the starter was the wrong one (bought the car that way) ok was running good and then yesterday went to start the car and the car starting turning over very quickly now the first time it happened i was driving and shortly before i hit a large pothole sooo i thought that was also part of the cause ok sooooooo this time it snapped the same way right around the crankshaft attaches to the flexplate

what would cause this ??????????????

i also have a idle problem with the car see

convert it to manual and sort it once and for all

but it does sound like something is terribly out of balance.
