Antilock, Brake, Battery Lights..

After replacing the two drive belts, I noticed that these three lights are on when the car is running. Yes...I have searched but found a few threads about this issue. When I tighten the belt, it squeals but the lights don't come on......when it is loosened up, the lights come on.

Any help is appreciated.

It's the alternator. Do you have the belt too tight?

The belt is not that tight or loose either, now.
UPDATE: With a voltmeter, I checked the battery (engine off) and it read 12.7DC volts...with the engine on ---12.0DC volts!!! Bad timing for the damn alternator to go out. Thankfully, the car is in my garage instead of on the side of the road. I guess I have to scrounge one up from the local parts store.

UPDATE (August 18,2010):

Just got done replacing the "old" alternator with a NEW reman from Advance Auto. Got everything cleaned up, cranked the car....everything seemed normal until I checked the voltage at the battery again - 12.0V DC!!!!!! I looked over at the A/C~Alternator belt and it was literally slowing down, stopping every now and then. In other words, the POS crank pulley is slipping....just like I first suspected. WTF?!!!!

At this point, I have two options:
1. replace the D*MN crank pulley and hopefully it resolves my WOES
or 2. SELL the car as is.....because I am so F**KIN' tired of messing with it.
