SR20DET Compression test quessions/ probelms

I recently changed the head gasket and head studs. There is oil coming down the upper exhaust.

I just finished a compression test. Took all teh plugs out, removed the coil wires and CAM angle sensor wires along with the fuel pump fuse. I cranked it over 5-6 times with the gas pedal to the floor and had ~65 PSI across all 4 cylinders.

This is a FWD SR20DET by the way but i dont think it makes much of a difference.

After testing two cylinders i heard a strange tick that was fairly constant. I am also having some grounding issue because the car shuts off when i remove either the positive or negative lead from teh battery. Dash board lights dont turn on either but they did during the first start up after the motor swap.

Any takers?

The battery is low but not killer low, 11.4 V.

I checked my timing 3 times before installing the head cover, at idle it sounds fine, but running rich like a MFER.

The 2nd cylinder from the timing chain has oil sitting on top of the cylinder and on the bottom of the plug, miss fires at times.

I think i need to remove, bore over, rebuild, re-install.
