Because the AWD question is one of the most asked questions on this forum.

People get butt hurt because this forum is a database for reasearch and to figure stuff out. The problem is its hard to find good info when theres a million re-posts that can be found very easily with a search. AWD can and has been done. It involves deep pockets and lots of skill and is no way an easy or bolt on affair. 90% of the time I need to find something out searching will show me my answer and the 10% I cant find it seraching Ill ask a question. Theres just so many reposts and same questions asked with no research that people get fed up.
So you may have just taken hit for the first 9 newb posts the pist off the other forum member but this is why people get butt hurt.
is it practical to awd an nx? dpends on the reason, right?
i'd say i would attemp to do it if i had enough free time and disposable income. It sure sounds like a lot of fun and im sure it'd be way better than a suburu, prolly just as expensive.idk i enjoy driving my nx with g20 susp/brake upgrade its got electric windows, digital cluster, custom itouch dock on steering wheel and pushstart button, add the amazing handle of this little fwd car its just perfect for me.that's my personal take on that. Not too complicated: )
Well if you have the knowledge time tools money equipment and patience you can do anything. But in the end is it worth it? It's still the same car no matter what. It came with a great motor in SE-R trim, it's extremely light weight, has great body styling and lines, and is a true sports car. Why not just take it for what it is and be unique. for the price it would cost you to do such a thing you could buy all kinds of awd/rwd rides that you could modify. That's the great thing about the SE-R. It's totally under-rated by people until they get there doors blown off by it. My suggestion is save your money trying to do that and put it else where in power upgrades, suspension, and chassis. Then when you smoke them on the track their feelings will be that much more hurt that you are fwd and they will sell their subies and buy evos lol.
This is why honda guys bust our ass everytime.you guys always discourage people. Hey I have a friend that is doing the AWD convert on his sentra.
Well if you are not married have no job and you are rich I'd say do it for sure. Other wise get ready to spend a lot of time fabricating, welding and gathering sub-frame components from other cars on the other side of the world. It has been done more than a few times just do a quick youtube search or something. Honda? Who brought Honda in this? Take a look at the people and the cars in this months super street for the Honda FF battle. Please don't make us guilty by association with Honda comparisons lol
Here's a nice vid off youtube from a fwd pulsar. He's on these forums somewhere I just can't remember his name but there was controversy because he used the 1.6 vvl valve cover. And the power he was making is easily ascertainable from the SR.
