alternator wiring harness - im so lost

95 nissan 200sx se-r

a week ago on my way home from work, i started to lose power on take off, so i immediately found a parking lot and pulled over, as i go to pull in my car dies, alternator went out i replaced it, and somewhere during the install of the new alternator my wiring harness cord, i have no clue what it is called or how i can find it, it is not the power or ground cord leading to the alternator but it is the butt connector and 1 side of the connection got ripped out and i didnt notice this till yesterday and by then i had already replaced almost every ground in the car trying to find the short.. >i'm a moron< this is causing extreme pain in the ass considering i cannot find a replacement part and or am i able to fix it with my lack of electrical knowledge yes i tried putting it back in and crimping it down, does not stay in, any feedback at all would be the extremely help full seeing as i am at a complete stand still
