They're shot - time for replacements. I hope they're stock, and not S4's or similar. You need to check & clean your oiler tubes so it doesn't happen again. Out of curiosity, how many miles on the engine?

They are JWT S3. I bought them long time ago from a seller here and he told me its in good condition. Since I was new that time, I took his word and believed that its a good cam.

Wow. That really sucks bro. I think he might have just looked for scratches and pitting and since they were smooth, felt they were good. At least that's an OPTION. He could have just tried to take advantage of a new guy, which is unfortunate.

I agree with Chris. Take a look at the oiler tubes and make sure they are cleaned out to prevent this from happening. Did you run these, or is this how they looked when you got them? If you did run these, how many miles have they seen since you got them?

On the bright side, SO many people are going the VE route (even some hardcore turbo guys) that DE/DET parts like S3's, S4's, and such are selling for much lower than before. I remember when S4's were selling for $425+. They are almost impossible to sell for anything close to that now. S3's would be significantly cheaper. Good luck.

looking for those "cheap" S4's... Seems people will sell stuff like that as "good" either by ignorance, or on purpose.

Sorry man, those cams are "usable", but will be round in no time. The first few MM of a cam is harder than the underlying metal. Once that wears off, the cam is decoration for the garage, or a great 'thumper" for people who need an attitude adjustment.
