HELP!!!! starting problems

Here's the deal I need some help fast I am heading to VIR tomorrow for a PDX and my car won't start.

Here's a quick rundown of the situation. first of all I just got a yellow top Optima battery less than a month ago. battery is in the trunk, I have checked the ground and voltage while car was on and off. While off both the alternator and battery were reading 13.. while on the alternator was reading 15.. and the battery 13.. the car is not a daily driver.

so i went to the car wash yesterday started fine at the house and after the wash started fine I backed up to the vacuums to jump someone else and cut the car off then when i tried to start it back up nothing this was like 2 min later. someone else jumped me and it started right away. I go home and cut the car off and then immediately try to start it and I get nothing but click click click. now it gets harder to jump it off

I am lost please please please help

to add a little more info I did make it to VIR this weekend and the car drives fine I only had to jump start it every time i stop the car. after the 3+ hr drive to the track I cut the car off and the immediately tried to start it again and nothing same thing at the track all weekend however today I just got back home and tried again cut the car off and this time when i turned the key it started right up. My only thought is that the starter may be going.

I would love some input on the situation
