SR20 DE RACE CAR

Hi all.
New to all this so some help would be appreciated.
I run a Sentra Cup car in New Zealand in the all Japanese series.
Have been running a P10 SR20 engine for last 6 rounds but come last sunday i put a rod through the block.
The car was dynoed a month ago and was 116.7 H/P at the wheels so apart from computer we gather internal wise it was stock.
I have just purchased a low km P11 SR20 DE motor with the RR head but have been advised i should take the Hydrolic head from the P10 motor and combine it with the P11 block as a better package.
When i purchased the car it came with a Tomei 70mm throttle body and manifold and a set of Tomei cams.
I can use these cams with my Hyd head but not with the RR head.
I run a link plus ECU and would like to bolt all together and continue in my series.
Any do or donts would be appreciated.

Sounds like you have the right plan to me using the highport head with the tomei parts. Plus when you swap the heads you can upgrade the head gasket ve or similar and gain some compression if you go for a slimmer hg.
