Switch on ecu

SO I have a 62 ecu for my s13 sr20det and it has a small switch on the side of it? Is this some sort of tuned computer or something? I have never seen this before. here is a few pics.

does my ecu have a daughterboard? how can I identify this thing?

That part you are holding is the daughterboard. Does it say anything?

doesn't say anything except for on the little white sticker its Japanese and it says P1 & P2 I cant read the rest. what do these daughterboards do? I hope its not for a built engine, mine is all stock, this is the ecu that came with it from the importer, whether or not its was originally for this engine is a mystery. what would the switch be for? to energize the daughterboard?

the original ecu guts everything says JECS

anybody know the name or number of a really good shop that installs and tunes "daughterboards" I need to call them and ask lots of questions

john took care of me, he will be sending me the proper chips for my setup that i can install into the board. schweet!!!!
