Switch on ecu

SO I have a 62 ecu for my s13 sr20det and it has a small switch on the side of it? Is this some sort of tuned computer or something? I have never seen this before. here is a few pics.

That part you are holding is the daughterboard. Does it say anything?

doesn't say anything except for on the little white sticker its Japanese and it says P1 & P2 I cant read the rest. what do these daughterboards do? I hope its not for a built engine, mine is all stock, this is the ecu that came with it from the importer, whether or not its was originally for this engine is a mystery. what would the switch be for? to energize the daughterboard?

anybody know the name or number of a really good shop that installs and tunes "daughterboards" I need to call them and ask lots of questions
