hi everyone,

just started my b13 project car and i have some questions about the se-r 5 spd tranny. In order to run approx. 300-320 horses what parts and modifications are normally done to the tranny on the b13?

I have already purchased a ACT clutch kit and fidanza flywheel. as well as a 5th gear popout fix kit.

To run the hp i am looking for do i require a new gear set or shot peening or/and cryo treatment?

The best idea is to usually buy a B15 trans. But there are some guys that are able to keep the b13 trans and make it last at that power level.
Thick gear oil is a must.

hey jester u said u purchased a 5th gear popout fix kit... where did u purchase tht from and how much it cost?...i have the same problem with my b13 ser...the 5 gear wont stay engaged and keeps poppin out ...im trying to find out y and a solution for it.....can u help?
