Hi there, read some articles and decided to go this way for now, i dont want to spend anymore money on my engine, just want some cheap cams ... so i visited my friend that works in garage, and he borrowed me 1 intake camshaft from primera p10 ... but when i go home and take my cam off, i measured both cams, and i found they are same ... 38~mm and 32~mm are the measurements of the lobe ... for my s14 sr20det and for the p10 1991 primera ... i cant measure the degrees, but from what i can measure there is no difference in lift, and according to some articles here, there are only 2 choices for primera cams, 232 and 248 degrees, and 8.66 and 10 lift ... so whats the truth ... and also, do i ecpect some benefits from changing only the intake cam, keeping the VVT, and putting JWT sprocket with fixed timings on the exhaust ... and lets say advancing it to 2.5 degrees ...
EDIT: on the cam there are this numbers/letters
1 3 C 1 D 4 D, where 4 is marked with green, and on the other side, 13001 93J40 and nissan logo marked with green ... need to know is this camshaft 248 with 10 lift or not
