Help - engine shaking while starting and during shifts

Hello all,

Car is a 5spd. Shakes/moves a bit between shifts and when starting the engine (cranking - clutch pedal released, in neutral).

Could it be anything OTHER than engine mounts?

I replaced three out of the four (1.engine front cover, 2.the one near the manifold at the front of the crossmember, 3.the one at the back of the crossmember below the engine, but NOT the 4.trans. side one). The trans. one looks ok - I haven't been able to source one or else I'd have replaced it already.

I'm trying to figure out if I should just replace the fourth one with a performance mount insert if I can't find a replacement one, or if I'm missing any other cause of the shaking/moving.

Thanks!

Check Rockauto.com for the trans. mount.

Thanks for your reply, Old guy.

Only time I had trouble with RockAuto was getting this particular mount. They sent me one, but the holes were off enough that it just didn't fit. When I checked fitment with the manufacturer, it didn't apply for the 2.0L 5spd tranny. I guess their database was wrong. Will look into it again, though...
