Cam Specs for the JDM PS13 SR20DE n/a Silvia

Hi Guys

I'm an older aussie that has a soft spot for the nissan silvia. In my case I own a 91 model of the above silvia.

Info on JDM DE SR20's is not as plentiful as for the DET's and while I have obtained the factory cam specs for PS13 from the Tomei website in Japan I would like to find out if the n/a cams used in the PS13 silvia were used in any other nissan models. The stock specs for the 91 PS13 SR20DE silvia are as follows:

Type: lash
inlet: 248 degrees
ex: 246 degrees
Lift (in): 10.0mm
Lift (ex): 9.2mm
Lobe centre angle (in): 117 degrees
Lobe centre angle (ex) 120 degrees

I'm not looking for performance cams as the silvia is used as a daily.

Cheers

Ric

Hi
probably someone asked it before but I can't find any info about it. can anyone tell me if the 91-93 sr20de cams direct fit not causing problems in a 99 sr20de from a P11GT?
I am asking this because of the difference of the pre-set valve timming. I took the info from this list (factory specs as you can see):
http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-ca...aft-specs.html
thanks a lot

No it's not. Solid rockers vs roller rockers (P11GT)

They are simply different cams. The journals don't line up.

For the RR motor, I'm a fan of JWT's S3R's.

For non-roller, I like the S4's or you can go with C-series if you want insanity in terms of cam profile. I wouldn't touch Tomei, but that's just my tired oldschool ass talking. Hell.. It's been 2 years since my P11 was destroyed.
