j-spec se-r troubles

I have recently swapped my american made and emmision controlled sr20de out for a j-spec motor with absolutely no emissions. everything changed over fine accept for the O2 sensor and the emission controls which had nothing to hook up to on the new j-spec motor. I can not get the motor to fire over, it has compression and fire . It also has full pressure on the fuel rail but it seems that the injectors are not pulsing.!!?? I have switched my old rail and the new rail many times with no success. What am i doing wrong??? Does anyone know how to fix this problem?? I have talked to the Nissan mechanic in my area and he says that it is a grounding problem but I have not seen any. If anyone has information about this or has done a j-spec engine swap please contact me and tell me what i am doing wrong Thanks se-rjunkie

make sure the fuel lines aren't backwards. It seems that could be it. Not sure though. Recheck all the sensor plugs and injector plugs.

You really shouldn't have many plugs left over. What kind of car is it in?

The motor is a sr20de and the fuel rail comes complete with the injectors mounted to the rail and all wiring runs down the rail. Each injector has it's own plug right on the rail. Both the one on the american sr20de and japanese sr20de look identical. The motors are exact in appearance execpt for the intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds The intake has NO Emissions at all there so no egr or any emisions tubes on the motor there isn't an O2 sensor on the manifold not even a hole for one so the only two plugs that were left was the O2 plug and the egr selenoid plug. I have been told that the ecu might have to be modified somehow?? PLease keep the info coming
I appreciate any help you can give

You need to use your stock usdm exhaust manifold or buy a header, and the egr stuff doesn't matter. The stock ecu will work fine as well.

Im having the same problem with my swap too, the injectors dont pulse. Im thinking the reason why mine dont pulse is because i got a broke ecu, because the ecu doesnt even diagnose.

Check for codes and clean all ground connections.

Did u check the 2 grounds that screw down to the intake manifold in the back, at the side by the throttle body.
