Does anyone know if the flywheel from a 97-98 sr20 is the same as the flywheel in a 01 sr20? Mauibluegride has my car and is putting in the clutch, but doesn't have the tranny apart yet. I need to get the flywheel resurfaced and try to get it done today. So I need to know if one of the 97-98 flywheels he has laying around would work so I can get that resurfaced instead of mine since he doesn't have the tranny apart yet.
please if anyone knows post b.c I really would like to get my car back as soon as i can. i miss driving it very much

I used to be a noob but now I'm just a dumbass www.m4exhaust.com
Amy's car had a ring that mounted in the flywheel to bolt it up, and it was looked a little different overall, maybe they can be sub'd but I just had her orginal flyhwheel resurfaced...
Amy - your clutch is installed (it took 2 cans of brake cleaner to clean the tranny/motor lol) and the tranny is bolted up, gotta go take care of a few things, but if I get time I'll have her buttoned up tonight, I'm expecting trouble getting the axles back in the hubs, so for now plan on picking it up tommorow night in case I don't get time to finish tonight.

Amy, What Clutch did you go with? I just bought one from JGY and I should have my car back in a couple weeks. I'm actually excited to finally drive it again.....
Chris S. cool thanks for letting me know. And let me know how much I owe for the resurfacing. I will just plan on picking it up tomorrow night so don't rush. Did you happen to get the other stuff done too?
Chris C. I just went with stock stuff. I wanted to go with light weight flywheel and better clutch ,but having to replace all the stuff that was either busted or stolen from the break in and bills just wouldn't allow for that right now. Maybe next time lol Hope your car gets done soon. We will be up for 4th of July weekend. Maybe we could meet up then.
thats cool, even if you don't have it we should still meet up. haven't seen you guys in a while ,oh and i think i found your vice grips lol. its only been like what a year plus since i borrowed them lol.
lol well now you can beat down a sr20 with no tranny lol, or at least one thats working .clutch didn't fix the problem, only part of it looksl ike i might be getting a new tranny, well one with 25,xxx miles on it.
btw you did beat me, but i had a low bottle so not very good pressure ,no bottle heater or purge valve ,,,,plus it was kinda cold outside. lol but you still beat me lol
Hey!!!! We got a run when you had a full bottle. It wasn't as bad but I still pulled like 3-4 cars over 100 :P Now you and Sean can have the "No tranny" race whats the deal with yours?
