ok after i start my car and let it run for a few mins its fine untill i start driving . around 3grand it bogs like its not getting fuel but then it goes fine. but if i punch it , it pulls. whats causing this problem???
my car is doing a similar thing. Took it to the mechanic and he thought it needed a valve job. He did a compression test, and the results were bad news for me:
The specs for compression are supposed to be 178psi.
Redserprise: it sounds like your mechanic may have not held open the throttle and/or your battery is weak.

you should really pull the codes off your ecu, even if you aren't getting an mil light.
I had the same probrem, my car would bog from 3 grand to about 5500. I pulled the codes on the ecu and i had a bad detonation sensor. But i replaced it, and got my power back.

TELL THE TRUTH!
Sounds like a bad EGR. Thats was a common problem on 91 and 92's. Pull the EGR tube off of the BPT and see if it goes away. If so you need ot either clean or replace your EGR valve.
