Throttle Plate Adjustment?

While cleaning my throttle body i noticed that my throttle plate dosn't get fully parrallel when i open it. I couldn't find anyway to adjust this though. Is it adjustable?

There should be a little screw thingy that can control how parallel
the plate gets. Have someone MASH the gas and adjust it.

there is a screw that adjusts the closed position but i can't find anything to adjust the fully open position

does anyone know whats the specs to adjust the fully closed position of the throttle plate? like using a feeler gauge or something?

i have adjusted mine on my 92, but you will have to re-adjust your tps (or at least i had to). there was just a hard stop adjustment on where the throttle cable is, IIRC.

yes.. i know.. the question is how much of peeking opening should the throttle plate have at full close position? i believe it should not be air tight closed.

When the throttle is closed there is no air going through the throttle body. The ECU,IACV,AAC and IACV air regulator control the idle

i am almost certain the throttle plate isnt completely closed shut from factory...

when the car is running, at idle, the plate is CLOSED, there is another passage for idle air to go through.

when fully open, it should be flat, so adjust your cable! i've been meaning to do this, but need a 2nd person.
