yea my friends nx2000 spun a bearing and we had to put in a new motor.
so we got one from SOKO and put it in now the motor works great it just wont stay running for sh*t. you start it up and you have to keep it running by playin with the gas but after it warms up it gets better... but it does not go away.
as soon as you push in the clutch it just falls right to 0rpm.
so far we swaped...
the idle air control
TPS
both colant temp sensors
and the i think its called the AAC valve but its under the intake manifold and it square with to hoses on it
there is only like 2 vacuum hoses and they arn't any vac. leaks from there.
but i cant figure it out do you guys have any ideas...
I don't think that square thing under the intake manifold is the AAC valve - but I don't know what it is. Heh!! I believe the AAC valve and Idle Air Control (IACV) are built into one unit that bolts onto the side of the intake manifold. Maybe you should set your base idle and see if that helps. Hey, are you using the jdm manifold or did you swap your usdm one on there?

i adjusted the idle and i have the screw all the way out thats. was idleing super low and with it all the way out its at like 700. and its the USDM idle air control.
Did you check EVERYWHERE for vac leaks. They can be a bitch. what do you mean by the following statement:
"as soon as you push in the clutch it just falls right to 0rpm"
The motor dies when you push the clutch in? Do you have to push it to the floor (to the point where the "stupid clutch start disable" switch is activated) before it dies?? Will it run good enough to check/adjust timing (it could be WAY off).?? Hope these questions clear some things up.
I just had this same exact problem on the JDM I installed for blacknx2k. I knew it was a vacuum leak, but at 3:30am you aren't very sharp!
I found the leak as soon as I popped the hood the next day. I forgot to connect the vacuum hose to the carbon canister. It was hard to see the nipple at night because it was sort of underneath the throttle body.

and it will idle it just take some time. as for the stalling, when your coming up to a stop light or something and push in the clutch it some times it will try to idle then just die and sometimes it will just not even stumble and drop right to 0.
thanks for all the help. this is actually my car but i haven't been able to post about it *** i'm going from school (UTI) to work and then straight to bed. the idle problem is very annoying.
this is the best that i can describe the problem: when i let the car sit for a while it cranks over, starts and IMMEDIATELY dies. i have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it alive. when it gets to normal operating temp it dies when i am driving and push the clutch in. very rarely the rpm's will drop to about 200 and then straighten itself out to around 5-600. i can usually save it if i touch the gas after i push the clutch in, when the rpm's are diving down and they get to about 1000. that slows the tach down and it stabilizes and roughly idles barely over 500.....
i'm starting to think it's a vacuum leak...the top nipple on my e-vap canister doesn't have anything connected to it. the 2 vacuum hoses toward the firewall on my TB are blocked off, could that be a problem????
