Fans

Does anyone know if it is possible to wire the A/C fan to come on with the other thermostat controlled fan? I've removed the A/C but would like to have the extra cooling for track use.

Thanks,
Tim

Id imagine you could just splice the AC fans harness into the main fans harness and disconnect the original AC signal source.. thats just thinking off the top of my head.. is there a better way??? or can the fans be ran in series? parallel?

That's what I was thinking would be an easy solution. I just worry about the current draw. Can the wiring and fuse/relays take it?

im not trying to be a dick but did you search. im almost positive i have seen a few threads where people had bought aftermarket fans and wired both sides to come on at the same time.

Yes, I've searched. The best I've found is how to make the A/C fan come on by wiring in a switch. Haven't seen any details on how to wire it to the other fan. I may go the switch option if I can't go the other route.

Been thinking...in parallel the current would remain the same but the voltage would double~not good for lil 12v motors... In series the volatge will remain the same but the current would increase-not sur ehow much of a draw, and if one fan fails, they both will not operate. There has got to be a way to split the signal voltage ONLY to both of them and then give them each individual grounds.....Thats my best guess so far.
