Blowing Fuses for the Parking and Dash Lights

About two weeks ago my car started blowing the R Tail lamp fuse which is linked to the parking and dash lights. I have pulled all of the bulbs and looked at all of the obvious wiring, nothing looks to be shorted. Is there a common place where the classic SE-Rs begin to short the wiring harness and if so where is it located. I have tried to troubleshoot the harness and isolate the short but all I have successfully done is blow about 15 fuses. I hate to do it, but my next step looks like I am going to have to strip all the interior so I can follow the harness. If anyone has any idea what the problem may be, please respond.

Thanks

Look under the rear seat bottom drivers side. The harness sometimes gets pinched right before going into the trunk.

I had the same problem, turned out to be the illumination wire on my Pioneer head unit was making contact and shorting the fuse.

Trying to find the problem is a pain in the ass!!! But once you do it is so rewarding!

Here is the thread explaining why my fuse kept blowing and how I fixed it as well as another members issue and how he fixed it. Hope it helps:

I guess you will just have to drive during the day. But when do you drive the sentra anyway?

I was blowing my brake light fuse constantly a couple weeks ago so I pulled all the carpeting in the trunk to check out the wires and although I never actually saw anything shorted apparently I must have moved whatever was touching because the fuse hasn't blown for 3 weeks so far. The short must have been somewhere in the trunk area though, my guess is it was caused by a leaking taillight seal.
